Our flagship petroleum-based oil formula is applied annually to all exposed metal surfaces. It creeps into every seam, joint, and cavity — creating a self-healing barrier that repels moisture and stops rust before it starts.
For vehicles needing extra protection in high-rust zones, our undercoating service adds a targeted layer of protection to the most vulnerable areas — the underbody and enclosed frame cavities.
Running a business in Maine means your fleet takes a beating every winter. Krown of Maine offers volume pricing and flexible scheduling to keep your entire fleet protected — minimizing downtime and extending vehicle life.
Krown's formula is most effective when reapplied every year — before winter hits. Sign up for our annual reminder program and we'll notify you each fall when it's time to bring your vehicle in.
How long does a treatment take?
Most passenger vehicles take 60–90 minutes. Larger trucks, SUVs, and fleet vehicles may take up to 2 hours.
When is the best time to get treated?
Spring is ideal so your vehicle can be washed of any salt and the krown has had plenty of time to sit on the frame before the next winter comes.
Will it drip after the treatment?
There may be minor dripping for 24–48 hours after application as excess oil drains from cavities. This is completely normal.
Is Krown safe for new vehicles?
Yes. In fact, treating a new vehicle is the best investment — protecting from day one means far less rust over the vehicle's lifetime.
Do you work on motorcycles or ATVs?
Contact us to discuss your specific vehicle. We treat most on-road and off-road vehicles on a case-by-case basis.
